We’ll start the day by visiting Melk Abbey, one of Austria’s most famous baroque monasteries, overlooking the Danube River. After exploring the magnificent halls and courtyards, we’ll continue to Mariazell, a perfect alpine town known for its basilica, gingerbread, and warm Christmas atmosphere. You’ll have time to stroll through the markets, shop for local crafts, and enjoy traditional food and mulled wine before heading back to Graz in the evening.
