Stroll through the cosy Christmas markets, explore the historic old town, and soak in the festive atmosphere.
For those interested, there’s also an optional guided tour of the famous Vinag Wine Cellar — one of the largest and oldest in Europe — offering a glimpse into Maribor’s rich wine-making tradition (additional cost applies).
We will meet at 12:45 in Franz-Graf-Allee (next to the Opera House in Graz) and begin our journey to Maribor. After arriving, we will have “open space” - this means that you can explore the beauties of Maribor on your own, go to a cozy café for hot chocolate and of course - stroll through the Christmas Markets. If you sign up for the winery tour, this will take around an hour following with wine tasting.
The cost for this event is 10€ with ESNcard and 15€ without ESNcard, for the winery tour you need to pay extra 20€. Sign up during our office hours, signup starts on 12. 11. 2025.
For the trip, please don´t forget to bring your passport or EU ID, cash for personal expenses, warm clothes and comfortable shoes!
