Spring is coming soon, and insects will be around again. Also ticks!

Specially for those of you, who are going to spend their leisure in the nature we recommend to get vaccinated against FSME (engl. tick-borne encephalitis, which can be transmitted by ticks).

For the protection you need two vaccinations, one now and a second in 1 to 3 months after the first.

The TU Graz offers this vaccination to all students as well.

Please come to the HTU office (Rechbauerstraße 12, students' union - this is where also the ESN office hour takes place on Wednesday evenings) during the office is opened:

Monday - Thursday: 9:00 - 16:00
Friday: 9:00 - 14:30

Ask for Renate, the secretary, she will hand you a form, which you have to fill out (each year until beginning of March).

VACCINATION:

usually middle of March on a specified day, but the secretary will give you all the information!

There is also the opportunity to get that vaccination directly from the city of Graz (information here, German only) or from the social insurance (announcement German only).
