Bärenschützklamm Hike

Date:
Fri, 2024-10-25 07:30 - 17:30

Join us for our hiking trip to Bärenschützklamm before it's closed at the end of October for the winter break. It is one of Austria’s most famous rocky ravines and was declared a natural monument in 1978. The rough terrain alongside the roaring waterfalls offers a unique and impressive scenery. As you ascend through the ravine, you will get a feeling for the raw power of the water that has been digging through solid rock for centuries.

After conquering the Bärenschützklamm, we will stop for a short break and a snack. Well rested and ready for action we will start our descent to the train station. BUT WAIT! For those of you who are still motivated and fit enough to take on a further challenge, there will be the possibility to hike up the Hochlantsch. With its astounding height of 1.720m, the Hochlantsch is the highest peak in the area of Graz. If you opt for this you will eventually have to take a later train back to the city.
