At the party we will show pictures and short film clips from this years events. But we want to show your media too so we held this competition. There are three categories:

• Best event picture
• Best event video
• no limit

For all media you submit the following rules apply:

• It must be your own work (for example picture taken by yourself) (That also includes that you still own the copyright of the picture) (also see [*1])
• Remind yourself that the pictures will be shown publicly and also people who have not been at the event will see it.
• Handling of possibly embarrassing pictures (for the people on the picture). We may accept such pictures under the following requirement: a.) You can name the persons on the picture. Include them in the picture description with their email address! b.) We will send then them an email with the picture and ask them if the agree to show it at the party. If they agree your submission will be accepted.
• You agree that we can publish the work (mainly display it during the party but maybe also publish it on our website). [*1]
• We are free to reject any submission if we feel it is inappropriate
• You can submit as many works in any category as you like

Best event picture:: Must have been taken during your exchange in Graz (in Graz, at university, at one of our events or one of your own trips (also abroad but not from your home country). Allowed formats: preferred is the original picture. Always send the best resolution you have. We accept any graphics format (jpg, png,...) except photoshop (or similar proprietary formats) files. Best video clip Must have been taken during your exchange in Graz (in Graz, at university, at one of our events or one of your own trips (also abroad but not from your home country). It is not necessary that it is really a video. For example you can make a slide show of several pictures and create a video from it. Most likely we can play the audio during the party so don't care to much about the audio track. Allowed formats: preferred is AVI-MPEG4, MPG, DIVX, WMV and maybe MOV. Send the best quality you have! Other formats possible as long as we are able to open and play them. no limit This is the open category. Everything that does not fall into the above categories is allowed as long as it is your own work! So it can be a picture, video or animation you produced once. It is not limited to the time you spend in Graz. So it can be also 2 years old. Important is that you still have the copyright (so you did not sell it excursively) Submission New Deadline: 17.6.2008 16:00 Pack all your files in an archive (zip, tar.gz, bz2.
