On sunday 14.01. we'll hike up to Platte. There they built in the year 1880 the "Stefanienwarte". From here we'll have a nice view over Graz (hopefully the sight is clear). Then we go back trough Rettenbachklamm down to Graz. On the way back, we'll go to a typical Styrian Buschenschank if it is open.

• 11.30 a.m. Andritz Endstation (tram #5)

Hike onto Platte (290m altitude diff.) appr. 1,5h
Break
Hike down to Mariatrost (240m alti. dif.) appr. 1,5h
Tram # 1 back to Graz

Equipement:

suitable (good) footwear, food&drinks (warm tea),
money (busticket), raincoat, warm clothes

When the weather is bad (rain), we'll make the hike on sunday 21.01.07!

The hike in total is about 8km!
