ESN Austria Event: Melk Weekend (1.6.2007-3.6.2007)

Finally the program is available. But first we should explain what this event is mainly about: An opportunity to see a beautiful part of Austria where you probably else won't go on your own. And maybe even more important: You get to know a bunch of new people as students from all ESN sections from all over Austria can take part!

Here you go with the current information from the organisers. Of course there still can be some activities added but the basic package will not change anymore (so no additional costs unless you book an addtional trip).

Friday June 1^st

12.00 am – 1 pm Check in at the hostel in Melk
Possible afternoon activity – Visit of Stift Melk, the main cultural sight with a castle and abbey. You find more details about it here (Please note that those additional trips are not included in the price!)
6 pm dinner at the hostel (included in price)
Afterwards welcome party with open end and all you can drink (included)

Saturday June 2^nd

8.30 am Breakfast (included in price)
9.00 am or 10.00 am hiking trip to Schallerburg castle / or the possibility to visit Stift Melk for those who haven’t been with us on Friday / There is also the alternative to go on a boat trip. (Please note that those additional trips are not included in the price!)
1 pm lunch and having fun at an lokal inn with an beer garden
4 pm or 5 pm international barbeque at the hostel (included in price)
9.00 pm going out to a pub which is reserved just for us

Sunday June 3^rd

9.00 am Breakfast (included)
Afterwards check out and depending on your section journey back home after some more relaxing, bathing. etc.. …

Costs:

69€ with ESN card, 75€ without ESN card (inkl. accomodation, breakfast, dinner and barbeque, all you can drink on Friday). Travel costs not inlcuded!
plus 10€ deposit (you get it back at the end of the trip if there was no damage at the hostel)
Travel costs: train ticket with ÖBB Vorteilscard about 24 € (both ways together, depending on the exact number of participants maybe even only 20-22 €).

from 30.3.2007 till 4.5.2007 during the office hours (no regular office hours during easter holidays!).
Advance payment is 50€ without ESN card, 40€ with ESN card. Read the payment and travel conditions (here in German )
Tuesday: 18:30 - 20:00 at KF office, ÖH Schuberstr 6a, first floor
Friday: 12:00 - 13:30 at KF office, ÖH Schuberstr 6a, first floor (new time!)
