Join our day trip to Maribor - by bike! 

Three of our sporty ESN Graz team members have to attend an international ESN conference in Maribor from the 19th to 22nd of October - and decided to go there by bike. 

We’re now happy to invite you to come with us on this journey across borders and vineyards! Whilst our staff members will stay in Maribor, they will make sure that you have some time to explore the city and help you in buying your train tickets to get you and your bike back to Graz. 

When? 
19.10. - 9am
(we might start earlier/later based on the weather forecast, so please check your mails regularly).

Where?
We will meet up at the ESN Uni Graz office (Schubertstraße 6a), please be on time!

What?

• Distance: 80 km
• Duration: ~6 hrs (based on speed/group size)
• Approx. Costs: ~20€ (for the train ticket, if you have no ÖBB Vorteilsclub Card)

Whilst the ESN staff will stay in town for a conference, they will buy the right train tickets with you so you do not have to cycle back to Graz. Instead, you’ll have time to explore Maribor and see for yourself why it is called sLOVEnia!

Why join?
Why not? Amazing stories and slovenian wine are awaiting you once you have crossed the border.

What if I do not have a bike?
We would highly recommend every exchange student to get a bike for their time in Graz! If you feel like you do not need one - ask the ESN team for help. We are happy to suggest some bike rental places!

What if it rains?
The event will only take place when the weather is okay-ish, so please make sure to check both your mail inbox & weather apps regularly! 

How do I sign up?
Register for the event HERE (registration is online and will start on Friday, 13th at 10 am).

Please only sign up if :

• You are at best health, and confident that you can cycle for more than 5 hours.
• You know for sure that you will join, as spots are very limited to guarantee everyone's safety.
