What is Aufsteirern?
Aufsteirern is Austria’s biggest folk culture festival, held every September in the city of Graz. For one weekend, the entire historic city center transforms into a giant celebration of traditional Styrian music, dance, costumes (trachten), crafts, and local food. Over 100,000 people attend, making it a major cultural event.
