Ski trip: Zell am See 6.4.2008 - 10.4.2008

The famous skiing trip to Zell am See is taking place again. You are not sure if there will be enough snow to ski? No problem: We can give a snow guarantee: the ski ticket is valid at Kitzsteinhorn (Kaprun) which is a glacier nearby. It is reachable by free public transport. But the last years we always were able to ski in Zell am See. The program is not final yet so maybe there will be some smaller additions. We will organise the transport to get there. Read below for transport and payment details!
This time you have the option to choose to stay and ski for 3 or 4 days (If you sign up on 4.3.2008 you can change your choice of days till 11.3.2008)

Program (as known yet);

• Of course every day skiing (on your own or you can book a ski course) (The ski card is valid in Zell am See. But it is also valid in Kaprun (Kitzsteinhorn). Free Buses are going there).
• Apres Ski Party at "Schnaps Hans"
• every day sauna (including drinks!) Last time the Finns were leaving earlier than the Austrians ;-)
• every evening party at the special party apartment (drinks included for two hours!)
• every night the party continues in one bar in Zell am See (if you are not too tired ;-)
• and more....

This is a nation wide event where students from all ESN sections can take part. Therefore you will meet quite a lot of new people there (most students will be from Vienna).

Some parties have themes (announced to the participants before so they can prepare, for example Beach Party)

Ski equipment You have to bring your own equipment. If you don't have it here you can rent skies and ski boots (or snowboards):
expected costs around 12 Euro per day (altogether: ski, sticks and boots. You must have your own clothes of course). You need to tell us when you sign up if you want to rent something. Or you organise it by yourself (for example Gigasport rents ski equipment. But then you have to carry it there and as far as I know it is also more expensive about 15 Euro per day ).

You can't ski yet? -> Ski course You can also book a ski or snowboard course. One day course costs 20 Euro, two day course 35 Euro. Just tell us when signing up. (You pay the courses directly in Zell am See so don't forget to bring the money).

Hotel: 3 star *** Gasthof Schüttfhof. (5 minutes to walk to the ski lift for Zell am See)
Date: 6. - 10. April 2008 (You can choose to stay only for 3 days till 9. April 2008
Places: There are about 10 places available for Graz. (If many people are interested and you sign up early we might get some more places!). We will also keep a waiting list (in case someone cancels his/her participation) .
Costs: including breakfast (buffet), four-course evening dinner, 3 or 4 day ski ticket, sauna, entry to the party apartment (drinks included!) Travel costs not included! (Also drinks at Flann O'Brian or other bars are not included. Only at our parties in the party apartment)

• 3 days (6.4. - 9.4.2008):
  210 Euro for ESN card holders
  220 Euro if you don't have an ESN card
• 4 days (6.4 - 10.4.2008):
  265 Euro for ESN card holders
  275 Euro if you don't have an ESN card

Sign up deadline: 7.3.2008
Sign up after 7.3.2008 is not possible as the Vienna people will use up any remaining place You have to pay the full price when signing up. Sign up is possible till 25.3.2008 but only if there are still places available which is very unsure! Also during the easter holidays there will be hardly any office hours

Sign up is possible only during the office hours:
Tuesday from 18:30-20:00 at the ESN KF office, Schubertstr. 6a, first floor (ÖH building in the yard behind the mensa)

Important sign up details (Payment!):

1. All payment details can be found in the following conditions. When signing up you have to agree to the Travel and Payment Conditions (here also in German ) of the organisers (ESN WU Wien and ESN TU Graz). Especially note the cancellation fees!
2. Sign up is only possible personally. You must do it yourself as you have to accept the terms with your signature (so you can't sign up for a friend unless you bring a signed print out of the above conditions from him/her!).
3. When signing up you have to pay at least 120 Euro as advance payment (or the full amount which is preferred). Payment of the rest must be done till 1.4.2008. If you don't pay till then someone else from the waiting list will get your place if he/she pays before you!
4. Full payment till 1.4.2008 or someone else might get your place.
5. There will be also an waiting list if someone cancels his/her participation. Note that you might get an offer even very shortly before the event (1-2 days). If you are on the waiting list you can come to the office on 1.4.2008 (right before the office hours ends) to see if someone didn't pay till then and you will get this place then.

Travel details:
Either by car or by train. If you came with your car to Graz please tell us when signing up so we maybe can drive there by car. But it is more likely that we will go there by train. Train (there and back together) will cost around 23 Euro if you have a ÖBB Vorteilscard . If you don't have one it'll cost around 46 Euro. Depending on how many people will be going the train ticket might even be 4 Euro cheaper!
IMPORTANT: The price for the way back heavily depends on how many people are staying 3 and 4 days. For the good price above we need at least 6 people leaving at the same date!
