This is one of our new events – so take your chance!

Now you already know exchange students from different European countries or even from all over the world – but have you already eaten traditional food from all these countries too? If not: here is your chance to taste a bit of various cultures and also to make your international friends familiar with your own food culture!

YOU have to bring with you:

• a traditional food of your homeland (if you can´t cook or bake: don´t worry – just take a look at the food stores and bring something with you ;-) )
  • you decide whether it´s salty, sweet, warm or cold food (or both ;-) )
  • if you decide to cook something warm you should prepare it at home and bring it in a pot/pan so that we just have to reheat it (there will be some hotplates for doing that) – the alternative is that you know someone in the ÖAD-Heim (or you live in the ÖAD-Heim) (see location) where you can cook
  • of course you can also form a group with some of your friends and cook something together
• special drinks you want to drink which we do not sell (see below) – maybe you also have some traditional drink of your homeland you want to bring along :-) !!!

Things WE will bring (and so YOU DON´T have to bring):

• paper plates, plastic knives, -spoons, -forks and plastic cups (It still would be great if people living in Steyrergasse could bring their own plates and cutlery)
• furthermore we will have the following drinks which you can buy cheaply [*1]:
  beer (cooled)
  wine
  coke
  orange juice
  soda water

The location of this dinner party is not too big, so the number of participants is limited for each nation (but nevertheless we´ll try to use all the space we have ;-) ) - that´s to guarantee that there will be students from many different nations with their traditional food.

Location: party-room of ÖAD-Heim Steyrergasse 3 (after you entered the building just go downstairs)
When: 20:00 – you shouldn´t be very late to get all the good dishes the other participants bring along ;-)

Registration: per email to chris@htu.tugraz.at starting on 4th of May (don´t wait too long, otherwise you risk to get no place any more!)
Important: the email has to contain the following information: your NAME, your EMAIL ADRESS, your NATIONALITY and which drinks from the list above you prefer. If you have an ESN card also include the NUMBER of your ESN card.

Sign up deadline: Tuesday, 13th of May 2008

After signing up you will get an email within some days if you got a place for the international dinner.
