Ars Electonica Center : the museum of the future
The new Ars Electronica Center is a one-of-a-kind facility. Its uniqueness is betokened by its external form. This bold architectural statement is an instant highlight within the Linz cityscape’s ensemble, yet it still sets itself apart at first—none of its edges run parallel, everything appears skewed, elements simultaneously pulling apart and merging together.
- Deep Space: Experience a new dimension of travel through space and time. Immerse yourself into breathtaking 3D stereo universes featuring jumbo-format, high-definition images that will absolutely blow you away!
- New Views of Humankind: Four labs constitute the exhibition's core: BrainLab, BioLab, RoboLab and FabLab. Via interaction and hands-on experience, visitors get an introduction to the mental and visual worlds of the modern Life Sciences.

- Funky Pixels: The projects that make up Funky Pixels deal with these changes and illustrate creative new linkups between human and machine, between real and virtual space.
- Poetry of Motion: Machines that resist being harnessed as tools? Devices that would rather tell stories than raise production efficiency? The kinetic artworks in this exhibit turn movement into a fantasy-filled experience!
Pöstlingberg
The Pöstlingberg is a hill (539 m) on the left bank of the river Danube. It is a popular destination with an observation deck, a pilgrimage church and the famous Grottenbahn, a small train through a fairy cave.
